In annual observance of Day With(out) Art, Creative Time presented The Banner Project 2000, a series of downloadable web banners, which were conceived of by a global network of designers and artists. The public was encouraged to download the banners and post them to personal websites; all banners included a link to the Creative Time Web Action site, ensuring that the participating artists’ messages concerning HIV/AIDS received widespread attention.
